Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on November 6.
While the new parents are currently overwhelmed with the new addition to their family, we are reminded of the time when Ranbir had said that he hopes they have a baby girl.
A few months back, Ranbir had appeared on the show 'Ravivaar with Star Parivaar' wherein he had taken parenting tips from 'Anupamaa' fame Rupali Ganguly.

During the segment, Ranbir had stated that he wishes to have a baby girl. He was heard saying, "Mujhe beti he chahiye".
Not just that, but he also did some diaper changing training with a prop doll with Rupali by his side and even learnt how to feed babies.

Looks like all of Ranbir's wishes have come true as Alia delivered a baby girl on Sunday noon. The actress announced the birth of their daughter with an Instagram post which read, "And in the best news of our lives: Our baby is here..and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed as PARENTS!!!! Love love love, Alia and Ranbir."
