Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi's Phone Bhoot released on November 4 and the film has received mixed reactions from fans and critics.
Several Twitter users shared their review, however, one thing netizens can't stop talking about is a sequence where the cast takes a subtle dig at Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's latest film Brahmastra.
In one of the scenes in Brahmastra, Shiva and Isha (played by Ranbir and Alia) are trying to find their way to a hidden ashram, housing the secret society Brahmansh. Aiding them is Nagarjuna’s character, who types in the address of the ashram on Google Maps.
Now, a Twitter user noted that Phone Bhoot features jokes on the same lines. Take a look at the user's tweet here:
Not the cast of #PhoneBhoot going to a secret hidout of the antagonist and saying:
'AATMARAM KI JAGAH KO KAISE DHOONDE, YEH TOH GOOGLE MAPS PE BHI NAHI HAI'
or capturing his weapon and saying:
'ASTRA HAI TOH BUTTON TOH HOGA'

Netizens had a ball of time sharing reactions to this observation.
This is called an indirect friendly roast of an ex boyfriend. Giving a reference of his movie. Wow Katrina.

They were desperate to gain attention, so they deliberately dubbed dialogues...

It may be mentioned that Ranbir and Alia also grooved to Katrina's iconic song Chikni Chameli in Brahmastra.
Meanwhile, Phone Bhoot sees Katrina in a completely new avatar in the horror-comedy.
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath, Phone Bhoot is produced by Excel Entertainment, headed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.
