A motorcyclist was injured following a hit-and-run vehicle collision on 2200 Beyer Boulevard, San Diego, on Thursday morning, February 22, 2024.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision happened around 10:00 a.m. on 2200 Beyer Boulevard and 2900 Kaanapali Way.

Authorities stated that a white sedan was heading west on Kaanapali Way when the driver turned northbound without yielding to a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling north on 2200 Beyer Blvd. The motorcyclist, identified only as a 29-year-old man, was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said that the incident was possibly a non-contact collision.
