A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in San Luis Obispo on Thursday evening, February 22, 2024.

According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, the collision occurred around 7:11 p.m. in the 200 block of Madonna Road near Madonna Plaza Shopping Center.

Reports indicate that an unspecified vehicle hit a pedestrian who was crossing the street. The victim sustained serious injuries and was immediately transported to a hospital.

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation. They have not made any arrests and did not consider DUI as a factor in the collision.
