Two people were hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash in Bakersfield on Thursday afternoon, February 15, 2024.

According to the Bakersfield Fire Department, the crash occurred along Holtby Court at an unspecified time.

Reports indicate that two people were found trapped inside a vehicle after it veered off the road and slammed into a fence.

BFD used the Jaws of Life to extricate the two victims, who were subsequently transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.

The authorities have not released further information about the cause of the crash.
