One person was killed, and another was injured following a two-vehicle collision in Gramercy Park, Los Angeles, on Monday night, February 12, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 11:50 p.m. at West Century Boulevard and South Western Avenue.

Authorities said that one vehicle was heading south on Western when its driver failed to stop at a traffic light and crashed into a vehicle traveling east on Century. The man driving the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The LAPD personnel were dispatched to the scene and transported the second victim to a hospital in critical condition. The woman who was driving the southbound vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No further details were released by the police. The investigation continues.
