Two women were injured after a Pedestrian vs. vehicle collision in North Berkeley on Monday afternoon, February 12, 2024.

According to the Berkeley Police Department, the crash took place a little before 1:30 p.m. along Oxford Street and Marin Avenue.

BPD said they found the pedestrian on the roadway with severe injuries to the head. She was transported to Highland Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the driver, who was said to be heading west on Marin in an orange BMW, had neck discomfort and went to Alta Bates Hospital for medical care.

The cause of the Accident is still unclear. BPD has since transferred the case to its Fatal Accident Investigation Team.
