A man was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Lancaster on Wednesday evening, February 7, 2024.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the collision occurred around 7:30 p.m. on 10th Street West north of Avenue H.

Authorities stated that the victim was walking in the middle of the No. 1 southbound lane of 10th Street when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle heading to 10th Street West towards Avenue H.

Information on the victim’s identity was not immediately disclosed, and the details about the hit-and-run vehicle were not yet available.
