One person was killed, and three more were injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Carmichael, Sacramento County, on Thursday morning, February 8, 2024.

According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the fatal crash occurred past 7:30 a.m. between Fair Oaks Boulevard and Shelfield Drive.

Three damaged vehicles were found at the scene. Reports indicate that one victim was pronounced dead, while three people sustained minor injuries.

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the cause of the fatal crash.
