Four people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision in Anza, Riverside County, on Friday evening, October 20, 2023.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the incident occurred on Highway 371 and Howard Road around 7:54 p.m.

Authorities found an overturned vehicle and two people trapped in one of the vehicles. After extrication, medical assistance was requested at the scene.

One person suffered severe injuries, while the second sustained moderate injuries, and both were transported to a local hospital via airlift. Another two people had minor injuries and were brought to a nearby hospital via ambulance.

No further information was available. The victims’ identities are being withheld pending an investigation to determine what caused the crash and what events led up to it.
