Two people were killed after a semi-Truck collision in Lancaster on Thursday afternoon, October 19, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at the intersection of 50th Street West and Avenue G just before 1:00 p.m.

A truck owned by J.B. H. legally crossed the intersection when a silver sedan struck the truck after failing to yield at a stop sign. The identity of the truck driver is unclear.

The two occupants of the sedan were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are being withheld until their next of kin is notified.

No further information was released. An investigation is being conducted to determine what caused the crash.
