Two men were injured following a single-vehicle DUI crash in Napa County on Sunday afternoon, October 15, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol responded to reports of the incident around 5:00 p.m. along Highway 128 east of Wragg Canyon Road, south of Lake Berryessa.

Initial investigation revealed that a 2006 BMW lost control for unknown reasons and went off the shoulder, going down an embankment and rolling over before hitting a tree.

The passenger of the vehicle, identified as a 21-year-old Woodland resident named Fabian S., suffered from major injuries and was airlifted to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center.

The driver, 20-year-old Miguel P., also from Woodland, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment. Authorities stated that drugs were a factor in the crash and that Miguel P. was arrested.
