A male Pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Carson early Sunday morning, October 15, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 1:45 a.m. on the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway at the Wilmington Avenue offramp.

The man in a gray shirt and blue pants was found lying in the slow lane after being struck by a dark-colored Honda Civic while walking westbound across traffic at the freeway’s right shoulder.

While investigations are ongoing, no additional details regarding the victim or the collision are available at this time.
