[09-28-2023] San Bernardino County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash Caused Traffic Jam in 15 Freeway

Traffic congestion was reported following a multi-vehicle Collision in Hesperia on Monday afternoon, October 02, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the head-on collision occurred at 2:07 p.m. on the southbound I-15 between Main Street and Joshua Street.

The authorities indicated that five to six vehicles were involved in the Accident. A white Mercedes-Benz GLC300, a silver Chevrolet Silverado pickup vehicle, a light blue four-door sedan, a white Dodge Challenger, and a white Walmart semi were found at the scene.

Three-quarters of a mile south of the collision, a Walmart semi stopped and reported that one of the implicated vehicles collided with his truck.

At 2:44 p.m., an ambulance was dispatched to a traffic accident involving a person with a shoulder injury. The number of individuals involved is still unknown.

Authorities have not yet disclosed additional information regarding the collision and its cause, pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation.
