[09-29-2023] Madera County, CA – Unidentified Driver Involved in Train Collision Near 6th Street

An unknown driver was involved in a collision after being struck by a Train in Madera on Friday morning, September 29, 2023.

According to the Madera Police Department and Madera City Fire Department, the collision happened near 6th Street and Gateway Drive.

Reports indicated that the train stopped, blocking traffic across multiple intersections along Gateway Drive.

No further details were disclosed about the current condition of the driver. Additional information about the collision has yet to be released as investigations are ongoing.
