A male pedestrian was hospitalized after a hit-and-run collision in Sacramento on Thursday morning, September 28, 2023.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, they were dispatched to Fruitridge Road near Franklin Boulevard just after 9:00 a.m.

The testimony of a witness indicated that a truck was traveling east of Fruitridge Road when it struck the pedestrian crossing Franklin Boulevard.

The suspect subsequently fled the scene, while the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
