A motorcyclist was killed after a multi-vehicle collision in Rancho Cordova on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Sunrise Boulevard near the Highway 50 overpass.

Authorities reported that the collision involved the motorcycle and two other vehicles, a box truck and a hatchback. As a result of the Accident, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not been released.

Investigators ruled alcohol out as a factor in the crash. However, pending a thorough investigation, they could not determine if speed contributed to it.
