Two individuals were hospitalized following a collision involving a stolen car in Sacramento on Sunday evening, September 17, 2023.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident began unfolding shortly before 7:00 p.m. when law enforcement responded to the area of 4th Street and J.

Authorities reported that the pursuit began when the driver of the stolen van failed to yield, leading to a chase that ultimately ended in a collision with another vehicle.

The occupants of the vehicle that was struck were transported to a hospital as a precautionary measure.

Sacramento police disclosed that there were four juveniles inside the stolen van. All individuals, including the driver and passengers, were detained and transported to nearby hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
