At least one person was injured after a four-vehicle collision, including a box truck, in San Luis Obispo County on Wednesday afternoon, August 30, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, they responded to the crash that occurred on Highway 1 north of Division Street near the Guadalupe Cooling Plant at an unspecified time.

An investigation revealed that a suburban heading south struck a box truck heading north, causing a collision with several other vehicles in the process. There was only significant front-end damage to one of the four vehicles involved.

Authorities stated that the incident also resulted in one person suffering minor injuries. It is unknown if the victim was treated at a local hospital.

There was no public disclosure of the identities of the people involved.

The police are conducting further investigation.
