[07-26-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – Teen Bicyclist Struck by Hit-And-Run Suspect in El Monte

A teen bicyclist was struck by a hit-and-run suspect in El Monte on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

According to the El Monte Police Department, the collision happened around the evening between Valley Boulevard and Durfee Avenue.

An unknown driver struck and left a teenage boy on his bicycle. While patrolling the area, the same driver went back and collided with another vehicle.

The other driver was uninjured, while the teenager’s injuries are unclear. The suspect was arrested at the scene.

The authorities have not released further information about the collision.
