A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Lompoc on Tuesday evening, July 11, 2023.

The Lompoc Police Department responded to the Q Street and W. College Avenue Accident at about 9:48 p.m.

A white, two-door car struck a pedestrian on Q Street heading northbound while he was crossing at W. College Avenue.

The pedestrian suffered significant injuries in the incident and was taken to a hospital in Santa Maria for treatment. During this time, the driver has already fled the scene.

The authorities have not identified the people involved in the accident yet.

As the investigation continues, authorities ask anyone with information on the incident, driver, or vehicle involved to contact Lompoc police.
