Authorities said a motorcyclist was hospitalized for head trauma after colliding with a Vehicle in Malibu on Saturday afternoon, November 26, 2022.

According to Lt. J. Jordan of the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, the crash occurred shortly before 4:16 p.m. on the Pacific Coast Highway at Cross Creek Road.

The motorcyclist was reportedly hit by the vehicle when it attempted to split lanes while traveling in the same lane. The rider was also not wearing a helmet.

The rider was thrown from the Motorcycle and afterward flown to a hospital for sustaining injuries. No details were released on their current condition and identification.

The rider’s speed was not also immediately apparent.
