[10-07-2022] Riverside County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on 60 Freeway Injures At Least One

At least one person was injured as a result of a three-vehicle collision on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Riverside on Friday, October 7, 2022.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision occurred at about 4:40 p.m. on the westbound 60 at Rubidoux Boulevard.

The agency stated that an SUV rolled and came to rest on its side after colliding with two other SUVs and a car.

The Riverside Fire Department crews discovered all of the occupants outside of their cars shortly after arriving.

According to reports from the scene, CHP officers blocked three of the four lanes to give emergency workers space to operate, forcing all westbound traffic into the HOV lane.

One of the crash victims sustained unknown injuries and apparently declined medical attention.

There were no other reported injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
