There is currently a large Police presence in Harrow Weald as police search for a wanted male.

Multiple police cars, at least two police vans, and a police helicopter have been seen swarming the area since 11:15am this morning.

There was a large police presence on Boxtree Lane, Whittlesea Road and Stafford Road, Harrow Weald.

Posting via Facebook, one person commented: “Apparently they were looking for a guy wearing Navy Shorts (I’m assuming just shorts and nothing else). Police Helicopter has now gone.”

Another witness told Harrow Online that the police asked if they had “seen a male wearing blue shorts”.

Met Police told Harrow Online: “Officers searching for a wanted male who has made off – enquiries to locate him ongoing. NPAS assisting.”
