Heat has began exhibiting its extreme kind in many states throughout the nation. In view of the heat and heatwave, summer holidays have been announced in all non-public and authorities schools in Puducherry. In accordance to the Faculty Schooling Division, all authorities and personal schools in Puducherry will remain closed from April 29 to June 5. All schools will reopen from June 6.

The Schooling Division of Puducherry issued an order saying that in view of the excessive heat and heat wave alert in the state, holidays are declared in all authorities and personal schools from April 29. Schools will reopen from June 6.
