Despite spending only three days in Kota, she sent pictures of herself bound with ropes to her father via WhatsApp, threatening him with ransom or the loss of his daughter.

8. ED Charges Karti Chidambaram in Visa Scam

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a Prosecution Complaint (PC) against Congress leader Karti P. Chidambaram, Advantage Strategic Consulting Private Limited, and others. The case revolves around the allegation that Karti accepted illegal gratification of ₹50 lakh through his close aide S. Bhaskararaman to facilitate the reuse of Chinese visas by Talwandi Sabo Power Limited for a power project in Mansa, Punjab.

9. Rohingya Refugees Denied Right to Reside in India

The Union government, in an affidavit submitted to the Supreme Court, asserts that illegal Rohingya Muslim migrants do not possess a fundamental right to reside or settle in India.
