- India has condemned the Glasgow Gurudwara incident as “disgraceful.” On Sep 29, three radical Sikh activists prevented the Indian High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami, from entering a gurudwara in the city for an interaction organized by the Gurudwara committee.
- IMD has issued an orange alert for four Kerala districts —Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta. Meantime, the state Disaster Management Authority advised people living in higher ranges to stay extra alert and fishermen to avoid venturing into the sea.

- The Indian Finance Ministry has announced new norms for Global online gaming platforms offering their services in the country. From October 1, a 28 percent uniform GST will be levied on online money gaming, casinos, and horse racing.
- ISRO today said Aditya-L1 has traveled beyond 9.2 lakh km from Earth, escaping its sphere of influence. The spacecraft carries seven indigenously developed payloads to study the Sun.
- Delhi and Chhattisgarh Police teams have arrested the “sole robber,” Lokesh Srinivas, who was involved in the high-profile Jewel Hesit. Lokesh, who has multiple robbery cases against him, stole Rs.25 crore worth of Jewels from Umrao Singh Jewellers in Delhi’s Jangpura locality.

- NIA has charge-sheeted the lone accused in the Kerala arson case that killed three people, including a child, and injured nine others. Shahrukh alias Shahrukh Saifi (27) allegedly threw petrol into the D1 Coach of Alappuzha-Kannur Executive Express and set it on fire on April 2, 2023.
- Two Pakistani militants, attempting to infiltrate the LOC in the Kumkadi area of the Machil sector in Kashmir’s Kupwara district, were killed by a joint team of Army and Police. Guns and Pakistani currency were recovered from the encounter spot.
- The 91st anniversary of the Indian Air Force was celebrated today with a grand Air Show in Bhopal. IAF aerobatics teams displayed their extraordinary skills, featuring Su-30 MKI, Mirage-2000, Jaguar, Kiran Mk II, Tejas, C-130 Hercules, IL-78, An-32, CH-47 Chinook, Mi-17, and Chetak.
