IFA And MFV NSE Partner For International Franchise Show In London

The 2024 Event will Bring Franchise Opportunities and Educational Information to the United Kingdom

The International Franchise Association will exclusively sponsor the International Franchise Show London in partnership with MFV NSE, the event’s owner and organizer. The show will bring both franchise opportunities and educational information about the business model to citizens of the United Kingdom.

“This partnership helps solidify IFA’s presence as a global trade association,” Matthew Haller, the IFA’s president and CEO, said Thursday in a news release from his organization. “We look forward to showcasing IFA’s work to protect, enhance and promote franchising on the world stage… We look forward to growing the countless opportunities franchising provides to Aspiring Business Owners around the globe.”

What the IFA Partnership Means

Christian Yandell, managing partner of MFV NSE, said “the IFA is now the major sponsor of our industry-leading franchise show in the U.K. … and we are proud to have them join us as our official sponsor. Their participation brings with it their expertise in the advocacy, education and growth opportunities to the franchise community.”

The partnership on the London show, which will be held April 12-13, 2024, at ExCeL London, marks the first time that the IFA will take its advocacy and education work directly to international partner organizations. This new partnership will create opportunities for U.S. brands wanting to expand abroad and for international brands looking to expand into the United States. It will offer aspiring business owners free access to more than 250 exhibitors, 60 seminars, one-on-one interactions with franchise experts and more.

The 2023 International Franchise Show London set a record with more than 11,000 attendees from 46 countries visiting the booths and taking part in educational presentations by international brands. Now that the show has cemented an exclusive sponsorship with the IFA, it is expected to increase in scope and provide more educational content to attendees.

IFA Efforts and Goals

Founded in 1960, the IFA is the oldest and largest organization representing franchising around the world. IFA lobbies elected officials and regulators at all levels of government, and undertakes media and public policy initiatives to protect and promote the franchise business model. Many of the IFA’s endeavors focus on educating prospective franchisees about the potential of franchising and empowering them with information they can use to make informed decisions about whether to invest in a franchise.

The IFA’s overriding goal is to maximize the chances of success for franchisees and franchisors, and its franchising expos in the United States and in the United Kingdom will serve as a major thrust of that effort.
