QSRs Kick Off Monday Night Football and Tailgate Parties with Discounts, Perks and Special Menu Items

As the 2023 NFL and college Football seasons kick into high gear, fast-food franchises are winning over football fans with specials, deals and promotions well in advance of Super Bowl Sunday. For every Monday Night Football, Football Sunday, and tailgate gathering this season, quick-service restaurants have a fun and exciting way to transform the game-day experience.

The deals, promotions and specials below prove that you don’t have to be an official sponsor of the NFL to score touchdowns with football fans.

NFL and College Football 2023: Fast-Food Restaurant Specials, Deals and Promotions

7-Eleven

At participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations, new snacks have been added for the 2023 football season. These snacks include Cheesy Garlic Bread Sticks, a spicy meat pizza with pepperoni and sausage, and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Roller. Through January 9, 2024, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty members can get an order of eight Korean BBQ boneless wings for $3 as well as five classic wings for $5 and two Pigs in a Blanket for $3.49.

Chili’s

At Chili’s, whenever a football game is playing on TV, it’s happy hour. All day Saturday and Sunday, and from 3 p.m. to closing on Mondays and Thursday during the football season, guests can enjoy several deals. These include beer starting at $3, margaritas at $6, wings at $7 and up, and Loaded Queso Fries for $6. There’s also a BOGO deal on eight-piece boneless chicken wings on Mondays during the 2023 football season. 

Del Taco

Through September 30, the Del Taco franchise is making watch parties even better. Del Yeah! rewards members get free delivery with a $20 minimum order. This deal is only available Monday through Saturday. Menu items include the new Honey Chipotle BBQ Brisket, a brisket and bacon burrito, and brisket and bacon fries.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is the Official Sausage of the Dallas Cowboys. Those in attendance on September 17 at AT&T Stadium can enter the brand’s sweepstakes to win free barbecue for a year and Dickey’s gift cards. Entrants get a free “Official Sausage of Your Dallas Cowboys” swag item and a “Buy one Get one Free” sausage coupon.

KFC

For a limited time only, KFC is offering eight Hot & Spicy Wings for $4.99. These new chicken wings are a favorite of Pro Football Hall of Famer Deion Sanders and his family, who have been featured in advertising for the popular fast-food brand (see above). 

Krystal

Krystal is looking to make gameday even better with special offers. At participating locations for a limited time only, Krystal customers can get 10 original or spicy wings for only $9.99. The Chili Cheese Krystal is also back and can be purchased as a combo with two sliders, medium fries or tots, and a medium drink.

Little Caesars

As the official pizza sponsor of the NFL, Little Caesars has deals and promotions throughout the 2023 football season. Through January 8, 2024, fans who order from Little Caesars one hour before and up to three hours after the start of Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football, or any time the restaurants are open on Sunday, are entered into the pizza franchisor’s Pizza!Pizza! Pregame drawing. The winner gets a trip to Las Vegas to see Super Bowl LVIII, and there are also instant-prizes and perks like NFL regular season game tickets and $2 off Caesar Wings with a purchase. 

O’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar

O’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar is celebrating the 2023 college football season with the Tackle Some Tenders promotion. Every Thursday and Saturday in-store all season, guests can enjoy $7 Tenders & Fries, $2 14-oz domestic beers, and $3 Jack Daniels & Coke. Looking to party at a tailgate or at home? The Famous Chicken Tenders Platter to go is $42 and contains 36 pieces of chicken. 

Smokey Bones

At the Smokey Bones franchise, you can take your fantasy draft party to the next level with the Fantasy Feast package. This limited time package feeds up to a dozen people with six dozen jumbo chicken wings, three racks of St. Louis-style ribs, sides, garlic bread, and two dozen cinnamon sugar donut holes. The deal is $249.99.  

Subway

Subway recently released a 180-foot blimp called The Beast that doubles as a restaurant. Passengers are presented with a lunchbox with the franchise’s four new Deli Hero sandwiches – The Beast, Titan Turkey, Grand Slam Ham and Garlic Roast Beef. Through September 30, Subway is also allowing individuals 18 years and older to play the Subway in the Sky online game or scan a QR code in-store for a chance to win a trip to the Super Bowl LVIII. Guests can also get special discounts on Deli Hero subs, like $5.99 footlongs or 15% off. 

The Greene Turtle

During all regular season games through the 2023 NFL season, select Greene Turtle locations have the $25 Turtle Touchdown deals. With this deal, guests get a shareable dish of their choice and unlimited five-cent draft beers.  

The Honey Baked Ham Company

Tired of the same old wings and chips and dips at tailgates and watch parties? The Honey Baked Ham Company is helping fans score touchdowns with four tailgate packs. These packs include the Half Ham Playmaker Pack, which allows you to make your own sliders with an 8-pound bone-In half ham, two 12-packs of King’s Hawaiian Rolls and four containers of side dishes. The Pick 2 Slider Pack consists of two 12-packs of Take & Bake Sliders and eight bags of chips. The iconic franchise is also going on a Tailgate Tour at colleges across the country. 

Wendy’s

Wendy’s is turning up the heat this 2023 football season with the new Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger. College football star Caleb Williams and former NFL great Matt Leinart have endorsed the new product (see commercial above). To sweeten the deal, DashPass members get $5 off $20 when they purchase either the Loaded Nacho Sandwich or Queso Fries at Wendy’s on DoorDash every weekend through October 1. 

Wingstop

To commemorate the 2023 NFL and college football seasons, Wingstop has a new Cajun Meal Deal. The deal includes either a chicken sandwich, classic wings, boneless wings or tenders and is served with french fries. 

Wing Zone

Ask any fan and they will tell you football and wings just go together. Throughout the entire 2023 football season, Wing Zone guests can enjoy 30 original wings for $30. Flavors include Chipotle BBQ, Buffalo Ranch, Thai Chili, Smokin Q and Mango Fire.
