Douglas will Manage the QSR Franchise’s Digital Presence and More

Smalls Sliders, a quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand backed by NFL great Drew Brees, appointed Kris Douglas vice president of technology. In this position, he’ll manage the brand’s digital presence and lead its technology strategy development and planning.

He was initially drawn to Smalls Sliders because the emerging brand sets itself apart as a unique concept with an intentionally limited menu, modular construction design with recyclable shipping containers, distinctive branding and more. 

Douglas praises the QSR brand’s leadership team for viewing technology as a growth accelerator and competitive advantage as opposed to a back-office service function. “Hearing how passionate they are about the brand has been really inspiring, and I’m thrilled to join a concept as it is setting the stage for national expansion,” Douglas said.

During his time there, he drove engagement and accelerated the value of the corporate franchisor’s portfolio through technology strategy development and mergers and acquisitions integration.
