What is Stud Bolt?

Introduction of Stud Bolt:

Stud Bolt is a type of fastener. It is made using austenitic steel. Stud Bolt is a mechanical fastener with entirely outside threaded from top to bottom. It doesn’t have a head. Stud Bolt is used in high-pressure pipelines and Pipework. Stud bolts connect to the application using two nuts and an additional washer, which provides better strength to the application. Stud Bolts come in various sizes, types, and different thread styles.

Clinch Stud Bolt: The term clinch studs refers to studs with a narrow, tapered head and teeth that are intended to permanently swage into the sheet metal as they are tightened.

Bonding Stud: A bonding stud is a full-length thread with a flat, broad head that typically has holes in it that is specifically made to be bonded into composite materials to produce a long-lasting metal stud

Dowel Stud:Dowel studs, also known as dowel screws, are those kinds of studs that have a machine screw on one end and a wood screw on the other. These are specifically made to be securely screwed into the wood to serve as a stud and to fasten a piece using a nut. To tighten, use the hexagonal shape between the two threads or the socket at one end of the machine screw.
