With the ethos that life is too short to wear a boring hat, Hats By Madi sets out to change the game with trendy Trucker Hats that appeal to young and old alike. Seventeen recently featured the brand’s “Do As I Please” hat in its holiday gift guide roundup for teens, noting “For the girl who does as she pleases. Say it loud and proud on a nostalgic, colorful trucker hat like this one.”

A woman-owned small business, Hats By Madi started as a humble side project during lockdown and has become so much more! Sold in over 350 boutiques across the U.S., Madi used her creative energy to connect with her community and now sells her original trucker hats full-time out of Oklahoma City. 

What began as a venture out of her home is now filling up a warehouse, selling wholesale to eager buyers nationwide who are captivated with her line. She’s going direct to consumers, too, with a vibrant collection that includes something for everyone, including embroidered hats and customizable options. Madi takes pride in providing many different styles and colors for customers to select from, which was one of the key reasons for starting her business. Hats are an accessory that will never go out of style.

In the beginning, she literally sold the hat off her head from her collection, a great indication that things were looking up. During a Labor Day lake event in 2020, someone asked her where she got the hat she was wearing. Madi took it off and sold it to them.
