Manchester City and Power of Women launches the sixth annual “Same City, Same Passion” collection of digital artwork for the upcoming International Women’s Day to celebrate the start of the Women’s Super League Season 2023-24. 

This collaboration also draws inspiration from Manchester City’s Same City, Same Passion campaign, which aims to promote women’s football by showcasing the same abilities, thrills, and passion.

The club’s first dynamic digital artwork, titled “Same City, Same Passion”, with Power of Women’s visually arresting and provocative artwork, will alternate between the iconic designs “Same City” and “Same Passion” on weekends when WSL games are played for the duration of the 2023–24 season.

This digital art collection builds on the “I am EMPOWERED” collection from Power of Women and Manchester City, which debuted on International Women’s Day in March 2023. It honors the diversity and passion of women in football today to motivate and inspire younger players. 

Power of Women and Manchester City’s official charity, City in the Community, will each receive a portion of the sales from the limited-time open edition of “Same City, Same Passion.”

Collectors who own all five digital works from the “I am EMPOWERED” collection by Power of Women x Man City will receive a free airdrop of “Same City, Same Passion.” These digital artworks will be minted with  0.03 ETH + gas, which will start on October 1 and end on October 4.

At the time of writing, 96 NFTs have been minted, and as per the site, there will be a limit of up to 50 NFTs per wallet. The total supply will be established once minting concludes on October 4, because this is a time-limited open edition.
