Incorporating VCO in Your Daily Self-Care Regimens

In case you ran out of your regular makeup remover, try substituting it with VCO. It is pure and organic oil so it helps weaken makeup products applied on your face specially the waterproof lipsticks and mascaras which are so hard to remove. Just apply a little amount of VCO to a piece of cotton and use it to areas of your face with makeup. Once the makeup is removed, you can proceed washing your face with your preferred cleanser.

  2. Wear a pair of socks. A thicker pair of socks is preferred.
  3. Leave it overnight and repeat the routine every night for faster results.

In addition, if you are experiencing sunburns especially during summer, you may apply VCO to affected areas. It is also applicable to other parts of your skin (usually around the arms and legs) that are not sunburnt but may be regularly dry.

VCO for your Hair

To top it all off, VCO is also very effective to use for your Hair. If you have dry and damaged hair, you may want to consider using it. For a regular hair routine, you may mix it with your regular shampoo. A 50/50 mixture is suggested when trying this.

However, if you have enough time to soak your hair and reward yourself with a quick beauty treatment, take the opportunity to do so. You may do this routine once or twice a week before going to sleep depending on the damages and dryness of your hair. Here are some tips to consider.

  1. Apply VCO onto your hair to make it damp. It is preferred that your hair is not straight-out-of-the-shower wet when doing this as you will rinse it again the next morning.
  2. Massage the oil onto your scalp thoroughly. Concentrate on the tips that are usually greatly dry and damaged.
  3. You may also use other natural oils together with VCO especially for your scalp. Most common suggestions are jojoba oil, argan oil and castor oil.
  4. Cover your hair with a shower cap. You may then proceed going to sleep and rinse the next morning.
