Mix and Match PLR Content: How to Create Unique Content

Content is king. It's no secret that creating your own original content and posting it online for the world to see can help you stand out from the crowd, build trust with your readers, and even drive traffic back to your site. But what if you don't have a ton of time and energy to create a new blog post, image, or video every day? Do you give up on your content marketing strategy and concede defeat? Not so fast! You can still achieve your content creation goals... have you ever tried to mix and match PLR content?

Mixing and matching pre-written PLR content allows you to create a diverse range of materials that align with your brand and resonate with your target audience.

For example, you could combine multiple PLR articles to create a comprehensive guide, repurpose PLR blog posts into social media updates, or use PLR videos as part of your video marketing strategy. The possibilities are endless.

What is PLR Content?

PLR stands for "private label rights." If you're a content creator, you can buy the right to use content already created or written for you. This is a great way to save time and money while creating valuable content for your blog, website, or products.

By purchasing PLR material, you can create new blog posts, eBooks, a digital product, and so much more by editing the content to suit your needs.

All PLR creators and sellers have different Private Label Rights licenses. Although most are similar, there's no "one size fits all" license. This means that it is super important that you check your licenses and make sure you are allowed to do the things suggested in this blog post. You should be able to, but it is always worth checking!

Why Mix and Match PLR Content?

When marketing your business, you want to create a brand and an image that is unique to you. However, developing enough content to last you for weeks or months when you're just starting out might be challenging. Mixing and matching different pieces of content can help keep your content fresh without having to write something completely new all the time.

If you mix and match PLR content, you are giving yourself almost endless opportunities to create brand-new content without working for hours.

Think of it like this: if you have 20 different blog posts about various aspects of self-care, there will be countless ways all that content can be put together.

All the blog posts might offer something different, but the same topic connects them.

So, there's no reason you can't take parts of multiple blog posts and turn them into one unique piece of content - or more.

For example, creating a course or an eBook might be especially helpful. If you create a course based on five different blog posts, you can take different parts of each post and use them to create new lessons. You can then make all of these lessons into an entire course.

Although mixing and matching PLR may sometimes mean you're reusing content, the results will be so varied that you'll actually be publishing fresh content continuously.

Don't Be Scared of Mixing and Matching PLR Content

It's easy to see one piece of PLR content and think, "No, that won't work for me!" Mixing and matching content might seem scary, but it doesn't have to be.

The biggest issue people have when it comes to repurposing content is an inability to think beyond the content they see in front of them. I don't mean this in a "you're not clever enough" kinda way. We all do it - I think it's a psychological thing.

If we're told something is an ebook, that is precisely what it is - it is super challenging to look at an ebook as anything other than an ebook. Therefore, we have to retrain our brains to look beyond what something is called and just see it as content that can be turned into anything we wish.

If you do this, the next time you look at any piece of PLR content, you'll see it as a blank canvas rather than a finished product.

You can mix and match your PLR content in so many ways to create something new and unique. A little later, I will give you my list of ways you can mix and match PLR content. But first, let's explore the idea a bit more.

How to Find the Right Pieces of Content for Your Mix and Match Strategy

When you've decided to mix and match your PLR content, you'll want to make sure you choose your content wisely. Here are a few tips for selecting the perfect pieces of content for your mix and match strategy:

Choose content relevant to your niche: When mixing and matching your PLR content, choosing pieces related to the topic you usually discuss is a good idea. I know this might sound obvious, but you'd be surprised how often I see people publish content that is irrelevant to why I follow them.

Don't be afraid to go for different content types: When creating your mix-and-match strategy, you don't have to stick to only one kind of content. You can mix and match content across the various types of content like printables, video, audio, and written PLR.

Consider your audience: When creating your mix and match strategy, consider your audience. Who are they? What type of content do they want? Are there certain types of content that they prefer?

Go for quality, not quantity: You don't have to choose a dozen pieces of content and expect them all to be perfect for your brand and image. Instead, choose the few pieces of content that you really love and feel will work best for you.

Pay attention to detail: When choosing your PLR content to work with, consider things like tone of voice, facts, opinion and the layout. Some pieces of content might need a few tweaks before they're ready to go, but that's okay. You can edit them or repurpose them any way you'd like.

Search for PLR related to each other: Purposely choose pieces of content related to each other. For example, if you're choosing PLR content for your weight loss blog, you might want to look for PLR websites that sell articles about dieting and exercise.

7 Simple Ways to Mix & Match PLR Content

Write an epic blog post using multiple pieces of PLR content

One way to perfectly mix and match PLR content is by writing an epic blog post using various pieces of content. For example, if you have many PLR packs on journaling, find a few related and mould them into a blog post. If you add to the PLR with extra facts, opinions, or suggestions, you'll end up with a really meaty blog post.

Write a guide using PLR content

Writing a guide is another way to mix and match PLR content perfectly. Again, if you have tons of PLR packs on journaling, find some content on one specific topic and turn it into a super helpful guide.

Use written PLR as journal prompts to enhance your journals

Within the realm of written PLR, there are numerous snippets of text that can serve as excellent journal prompts. These prompts have the potential to engage your audience and stimulate their thoughts.

By carefully selecting thought-provoking elements from your PLR content, you can create a captivating journaling experience for your readers.

Create infographics from your PLR content

Infographics are one of the most popular types of pieces of content these days, and they're also one of the easiest ways to create something unique out of PLR content.

To start creating an infographic from your PLR, find the key points from the content. These will be important facts, things to make people think, or actionable points. Then you need to find an infographic template on something like Canva and add your chosen text.

Create videos from your PLR and combine them with written content

Videos are becoming increasingly popular and are one of the easiest ways to create some unique content. Find the key points from the content. Gather those points into a list of what you want to include in the video.

These points should be essential facts to make people think or take action. Your videos can then be published by themselves or to boost other content. You could even create an online course by doing this.

Create social media posts using PLR content

Social media has become a massive part of our day-to-day lives, and repurposing PLR is one of the easiest ways to create social media content.

Again, find the key points from your Private Label Rights content, write your posts by combining these points with whatever else you want to add, and hit publish.

The Bottom Line

Content is king, but that doesn't mean you must constantly produce new content. When you're just getting started, it can be challenging to create original content every single day.

Mixing and matching different pieces of PLR content can help you achieve your content marketing goals without coming up with a new blog post, image, or video daily. Using PLR to create your quality content allows you to build trust with your readers and helps you stand out from the crowd.
