The Shiba Inu team has taken an active step by launching a LinkedIn account for Shibarium, as the network’s daily transactions soared by over 200% within the past 24 hours.
Shiba Inu, a leading cryptocurrency project with a canine theme, recently unveiled a new LinkedIn account for its L2 blockchain Shibarium. This announcement was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by RagnarShib, Shiba Inu’s community admin.
RagnarShib disclosed that Shiba Inu now boasts two official LinkedIn accounts, one dedicated to its metaverse project called “Shib: the Metaverse,” and the other for Shibarium.
He also provided the link to Shibarium’s official LinkedIn account, encouraging SHIB enthusiasts to follow these accounts for updates related to the professional sphere.
Ragnar’s Previous Cautionary Notes on Shiba Inu’s LinkedIn Presence
Previously, RagnarShib had warned cryptocurrency exchanges about the absence of an official LinkedIn account for Shiba Inu. This caution was prompted by reports from multiple crypto exchanges that they had been approached with offers to list the Fantom chain version of SHIB.
The individuals behind these offers claimed to be official Shiba Inu team members. Ragnar responded with a stern warning to these platforms, clarifying that Shiba Inu does not possess an official LinkedIn account.
The platform’s only legitimate Shiba Inu account was dedicated to “Shib: The Metaverse” and managed by Marcie Jastrow.
Shibarium Expands Presence on Social Media Platforms
Following the launch of Shibarium’s LinkedIn account, the L2 blockchain has established official accounts across various major social media platforms. Earlier this year, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, initiated a Telegram channel for Shibarium. Additionally, the Shiba Inu team introduced an X account for the L2 blockchain.
Furthermore, Shibarium maintains an official Discord channel with nearly 15,000 members. This expanded presence across social media platforms is a response to the growing adoption of Shibarium.
200% Surge in Daily Transactions on Shibarium
Since its launch on August 16, Shibarium has seen a remarkable surge in activity, processing a substantial 3.48 million transactions.
Over 1.25 million addresses have engaged with the network, resulting in the creation of 1.18 million blocks. Shibarium boasts an impressive average block time of 5.0 seconds, positioning it among the fastest Ethereum scaling solutions.
Notably, the number of daily transactions on Shibarium experienced a significant upswing in the past 24 hours, jumping from 10,940 to 33,050, marking a remarkable 202% increase.
The recent introduction of the Sharbi Token (SHARBI) on Shibarium, listed on the Marswap decentralized exchange, has driven the surge in daily transactions. This event garnered attention from SHIB enthusiasts who flocked to the DEX to engage with the meme-based cryptocurrency.
