The angry AMG 6.2-liter V-8 normally aspirated engine growls and howls upon start up and acceleration. Power from the 6.2-liter V-8 is 481 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. The AMG engineers have fitted the seven-speed Speedshift Plus MCT automatic, which trades a conventional torque converter for a clutch pack with paddle shifts.
