When girls in North Waziristan return to school, terrorists bomb them up.

After being destroyed by terrorists a week ago, a girls’ school in North Waziristan was reopened on Monday by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.

“We are overjoyed to announce that, with God’s blessing, we have successfully completed our goal,” the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training stated in a statement.

The Afia Girls School is back in operation following renovations.

The ministry said, “Today, our little angels returned with smiles on their faces, brimming with hope and enthusiasm.”

It further stated that radicals had threatened to destroy this same institution only a week prior.

We triumphed over endurance and tenacity today because we remained steadfast in the face of difficulty. We honor our daughters’ tenacity and the country’s dedication to education.”

According to the ministry of education, in the latest unfortunate episode in North Waziristan, a private girls’ school fell victim to unidentified terrorists who cruelly targeted it, inflicting havoc and dread in the community.

Despite the assailants’ efforts, no lives were lost, but the psychological and educational impact is substantial.

This is not the first instance of violence against educational institutions in the area; in fact, there is a troubling pattern of violence directed towards education, especially against girls.

The Ministry of Federal Education has restored the school in an unprecedented amount of time, so even in the middle of the gloom, there is cause for optimism.

The 120 girls are back in class this morning (Monday), according to ministry sources.

“Symbolises resilience, defiance against extremism, and a firm commitment to providing education for all, especially for the daughters of the nation,” the statement continued.

The ministry continued, “Stay tuned for the inspiring story of rebuilding and national solidarity.”

It is important to note that on Wednesday night, unknown militants detonated a bomb at a private girls’ school in Tehsil Shewa, North Waziristan province, according to police sources.

They claimed that after torturing the school watchman, the jihadists detonated two school rooms.

However, no one was killed in the blast.

In May of the previous year, two government schools for females in Mirali were bombed. These attacks were similar.

There were no confirmed fatalities from the accidents.

It was the only private girls’ school in the area, according to local sources, and its administration had previously received several threats through letters.
