Actress Meera appeared alongside her Mother in a recent interview for a local TV station and covered a wide range of subjects. The two were questioned regarding any controversies that they thought were particularly upsetting. Additionally, Meera’s mother explained why the actor began turning down invitations to star in Bollywood movies after a certain point.
Meera’s mother said no when host Shajia Niazi questioned whether any information about her daughter had alarmed her or made her feel like “this” shouldn’t have happened. Meera also enquired as to whether any news or scandal had ever made her uneasy.
“No, never,” she reaffirmed. I absolutely believe that there is no such thing as negative publicity. “Badnaam nae hogay to kya nae hoga.” But I’m sure certain things must’ve been hurtful, making you wonder why they didn’t check or run stuff by you two before airing, the host insisted.
“No, we don’t take such things into account. We are contentedly seated here. Things that make us sad are not discussed. Meera replied in response to another query, “People look at me through their own perspective.”
Her mother stated about Meera rejecting offers from the Bollywood industry, “After acting in the movie Nazar, she also featured in Kasak. She received numerous offers, but because it was a foreign country for us and it would be difficult for her to travel and work alone, we were unable to accept them. Nevertheless, she continues to receive offers from the Bollywood.
Meera chimed in, “I regret not doing Yash Chopra’s film Jab Tak Hai Jaan,” in response to her mother’s remarks. When I traveled to India to perform a Tsunami show, I received the offer.
When asked about her daughter Meera’s friendship with Bollywood stars, Meera’s mother replied that she could only discuss the actors who get along well with her and that she frequently receives calls from Aishwarya Rai and Juhi Chawla. Additionally, she says Juhi Chawla calls her mother. However, Meera said that she has no touch with these actors or actresses.
