The Ishaqzaade actress’ wedding attire was quickly noticed to be similar to that of her competitor co-star Alia Bhatt when she exchanged vows with Ranbir Kapoor on the internet.
Parineeti wore a cream-white outfit on her big day that was created by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra and is strikingly similar to Alia’s wedding gown.
On Twitter, users started sharing photos of the couple’s wedding and criticised Parineeti for emulating the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actor’s “style.”

Even Parineeti was pointed out by other sharp-eyed users for sporting the same garlands as Alia.

Some online users believe Parineeti replicated Alia’s outfit and chose wedding jewellery that was reminiscent of Kiara Advani’s, who wed co-star Sidharth Malhotra in February 2023.

Social media fans criticised her for choosing a pastel-colored dress for her big day and her simple wedding ceremony while pleading with the celebs to wear traditional red joras instead.
