The Problem:-
To reduce traffic congestion at Chembur – Wadala – Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk, Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority(MMRDA) decided to build Monorail at this heavy traffic junction where the road is narrow and other modes of transport, i.e., Metro and BRT, could be difficult to implement.
