Brick and Block Careers welcomes Cassie Cheffers as our new Industry Engagement Officer (IEO) in VIC. Cassie will be working in the VIC team along with Zoey Heather.

Cassie brings her love for local community connections and building positive relationships with industry and young people to our team.

She has extensive experience in coordinating career pathway events in rural schools, organising community groups to support students in training interviews, and finding industry employers to take on students for their VCAL/VET structured workplace learning placements.

Cassie is passionate about mentoring young people and helping them to find their own strengths, passions, interests, and to help build their confidence in themselves for their future work readiness and employment opportunities.

Outside of work, Cassie enjoys riding her motorcycle, heading down the coast, travelling Oz, and spending time with mates and family.
