Cannabis Business Interviews: Entering the Plant Based Protein Space into Cannabis

In this segment, I had the pleasure of chatting with Dean Harris, the Co-Founder and CMO of TabBrands. Interestingly, in the mid-2000’s Dean was the CMO for Kayak when they were a client of my analytics company, Enquisite. His team was highly professional and wonderful to work with, and the insights we were to extract while working together were beneficial all around.  It’s interesting with hindsight to recognize how many interesting and varied individuals and clients one has the opportunity to collaborate with, and the lessons learned from each.

Dean Harris has an extensive background in building brands and businesses. He has served as the Head of Marketing/Chief Marketing Officer for HotJobs, Vonage, Kayak, and BlueCava, Three of these brands went public, and two were acquired. Prior to taking on the CMO roles at some of these organizations, he co-founded and ran a full-service ad agency in New York City and Connecticut with accounts that included Coca-Cola, J&J, Citi, and Sotheby’s.
