Groupthink is a psychological phenomenon that occurs within a group of people in which the Desire for harmony or conformity in the group results in an irrational or dysfunctional decision-making outcome. Cohesiveness, or the desire for cohesiveness, in a group may produce a tendency among its members to agree at all costs. This causes the group to minimize conflict and reach a consensus decision without critical evaluation.

Facebook Promotes Group Think to the Extreme. You get a bunch of people uneducated and/or uninformed about a specific topic like the Covid-19 Vaccine and they all "group think" there way into being Scientific Experts and know better than all the Doctors and scientists that spent their entire lives researching and creating vaccines.

Just as we all watch live on TV the storming of the capitol on January 6. but now these same people are arguing it never happened or what we saw isn't what we saw, and of course they are "group thinking" into believing the lies. Facebook and other Platforms, or even just local gatherings are all enforcing the "group think" detaching entire sections of the country from reality.

What is the point of this post? well two fold maybe someone will read this and find a solution to this group think problem (unlikely).

But if you want to sell something to those in a "group think" mode, you have to target that absurdity and play to that crowd.
