Dr. John Burd - Ceo at Lysulin
Dr. Burd is Founder & CEO of Lysulin, Inc, and has launched an all-natural, scientifically proven nutraceutical product
proven to improve the health of people with diabetes. Dr. Burd also founded Wonder Spray, llc., making a
natural antibiotic solution useful for a variety of ailments that kills all pathogens and yet is safe and non-toxic to human tissues.
Prior to Lysulin, Dr. Burd was a General Partner of Windamere Venture Partners. Dr. Burd was previously President & CEO of DexCom, now the leader in continuing glucose monitoring for people with diabetes.
Dr. Burd has authored over 50 publications and holds 35 patents. He graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in
Biochemistry, and earned an M.S. and Ph.D., from the University of Wisconsin.
In 2010 Dr. Burd was inducted into the American Association of Clinical Chemistry Hall of Fame and received the Ullman Prize for innovation in clinical chemistry.
BD Mag -Can you tell me about Lysulin?
Dr. John Burd - Lysulin is all natural and is the only product that targets the CAUSE of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes and published clinical studies prove that it works. Lysulin is available without a prescription at low cost.
BD Mag -What stores are you currently in and do you have any plans to expand the business?
John - Lysulin is currently sold through social networking on Facebook and is available at the Lysulin website, Amazon and Walmart.com. We are planning to expand to additional retail when we can.
BD Mag -Did you ever think that you would own your own company and that it would have achieved the level of success that it has?
John - I have started several companies and some have had success. Hard work and good products lead to success.
BD Mag -What major challenges have you had to overcome?
John - Historically, supplements have had a bad reputation because many of them made unsubstantiated claims in the past. Conversely, Lysulin is firmly grounded on a foundation of 25 years of R&D and clinical studies published in peer reviewed publications proving that the ingredients in Lysulin will lower blood glucose and the production of glycated proteins.
BD Mag -What impact has the pandemic had on your company and how have you adjusted?
John - Since we have bricks and mortar offices the impact has not been substantial.
BD Mag -Could you tell me about your career journey?
John - I have written a book that is available on Amazon about the discovery of Lysulin. I have authored over 40 publications and hold 35 patents. John - The success of DexCom and the discovery of Lysulin are highlights.
BD Mag -Has your upbringing played any part in your success?
John - I have always had the support of family and friends, especially my wife, Rose.
BD Mag -What do you want your legacy to be?
John - That I cared about helping people to better health with natural products.
