Last-minute holidays around Perth, WA. Part Three.

This is the Third part of places to explore and holiday within the Perth region. Here are a few other destinations we thought of, that you may never have considered. Which might surprise you for a weekend away!

Chidlow & Wooroloo, WA.

Chidlow is a charming country town, surrounded by countryside. An ideal base for activities such as bushwalking, cycling, horse riding, and swimming or canoeing at Lake Leschenaultia. A 50-minute drive east from Perth. Perfect for outdoor activities! The Wooroloo Regional Park is about a 10-minute drive from Chidlow.

Kalamunda, WA

The entrance to Perth Hills, you can stay at Kalamunda or Bickley Valley, and explore all that is on offer. Immerse yourself in the history and culture, hike the many bush trails or Bibbilum Track, go mountain bike riding, and even a wine trail to indulge in. There is a lot to enjoy here on a weekend away.

Mandurah, WA

Mandurah is all about the beaches, canals, winding rivers, and lakes. There are all kinds of activities to enjoy on and in the water. Take a cruise and go dolphin watching, explore the state forests and national parks nearby, follow a section of the Bibbulmun Track or Munda Biddi Bike Trail, or visit wineries. There is a lot on offer here too, especially if you are after a mixture of modern accommodation and being able to explore nature and all it has to offer.
