God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around her and whispered, “Come with me.” With tear-filled eyes we watched her suffer and fade away. Although we loved her deeply, we could not make her stay. A Golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.

Predeceased by her husband Daniel, Elsie is survived by her children Chris (Joan), Gene (Louise) and Dani-Lynn as well as their extended families. 

At Elsie’s request, cremation has taken place and no services are to be held. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made the Stollery Children’s Hospital (8215 112 Street, Edmonton) in Elsie’s name.
