The primary objective of this workshop was to streamline the Land Acquisition process for Highway Development projects in Telangana State, aiming to expedite land acquisition procedures and ensure the timely completion of highway development ventures in the region.

The Union Government has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to infrastructure development in Telangana by actively working to conclude various projects within specified timelines. Notably, since 2014, the Government of India has initiated several highway development projects through NHAI, collectively valued at over Rs. 34,000 Cr in Telangana.

Throughout the workshop, detailed discussions were held on various issues impacting land acquisition, with the concerned authorities offering appropriate guidance and solutions to address these challenges effectively.

This initiative represents a significant stride towards expediting infrastructure development in Telangana and underscores the government’s dedication to facilitating sustainable progress in the region.
