PMAY Gramin List is nothing, but the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin Beneficiary List 2021-22 published on the 19th of May 2022 by the Government of India (GoI) on the PMAY official website with details related to house sanctioned, house completed, fund transferred, and other information. PMAY scheme has been designed to serve as a bridge that reduces the gap between demand and supply of housing and providing affordable housing to each and every citizen of India. The key benefits of PMAY is to provide generous subsidies to all Indians for buying their own homes especially those dwelling in rural areas through pmayg.nic.in 2020-21 Gramin list , rehabilitation of slums, housing for all people in the society, housing development in both rural and urban areas and also building eco-friendly homes.

PMAY – the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a government initiative launch in the year 2015 to provide financial assistance to the  weaker section of the society living in rural and urban areas, so that they can afford to have their own house. The scheme was proposed with a deadline of December 2021 when it was proposed but due to the pandemic PMAY scheme was recently pushed forward with a new deadline of December 2024.  PMAY is dived into two categories and they are PMAY Urban and PMAY pmayg.nic.in Gramin . PMAY Urban is an umbrella for people belonging to Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Lower Income Group (LIG) and Middle Income Group (MIG) whereas the PMAY Rural caters to serving people belonging to EWS, LIG and Below Poverty Line (BPL).

Through this scheme, the target of building  up to 2.94 crore pucca houses has been set to fulfil the mission of ‘housing for all’ as proposed in union budget 2022-23. The finance minister has also recommended for passing of Rs. 48,000 crores for re-initiation of the pending projects under the ‘affordable housing’ scheme for enablement of timely completion of the projects that are already under-construction. However, to avail the benefits under the PMAY-G scheme, one must qualify as a beneficiary by fulfilling all the requirements as mentioned on the PMAY-G website pmayg.nic.in 2021-22 .

PMAY list preparation is in its last phase now and as per the PMAY Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS), the borrowed will get a different subsidy amount on their home loans when they are purchasing their first home based on their category. People belonging Economically Weaker Section (EWS) will get Rs.2.20 lakhs per applicant, Lower Income Group (LIG) get Rs 2.67 lakhs per applicant, Middle Income Group I (MIG-I) get 2.35 lakh per applicant and lastly those belonging to MIG-II get 2.30 lakh per applicant.

pmayg.nic.in 2020-21 gramin list was updated on 19th May 2022 on PMAY Offical Website. According to the pmayg.nic.in report, pmay gramin list 2021-22 Uttar Pradesh has a target of building 2,615,951 houses of which 2,556,170 units are completed so far. This accounts to 97.71% completion making UP the highest achiever of target on the PMAY list.
