Book About Everything You Need To Know – Master the eight-year-old with a bunch of secrets, jokes, and tips they won’t teach you in school! What is the best gift for a child who is eight years old? Everything they need to know! Eight is a banner year in the life of every child. That’s when I was finally granted “big kid” status. This means more freedom and responsibility. It also means that there are a ton of things to learn, and some of them are quite important. Inside this fun manual is the information that children need to make eight one of the best years of their lives – from fun (How to win Halloween), to serious (How to get germs before they kill you) and the right disgust (How). to make Boogers you can eat).

Book About Everything You Need To Know

I thought this Book was serious advice for 8 year olds. It is not. The first section is “How to make boogers without using your nose” and gives instructions on how to use rubber cement to prank people with giant blobs that you leave behind. Bodily practices and jokes (especially about your parents) abound in this book. There are occasional serious entries like who counts as a stranger and who can see your privates, but these are incomplete and don’t protect children well. I would have hated this book at 8 and my 8 year old daughter would just call it ugly and stupid. She also says you can do things like make a sandwich at 9 (she has a follow-up book). What 8 year old can’t even make a sandwich???? Not my cup of tea. I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review purposes.

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to read in exchange for an honest review via netgalley and the publishers. This book wasn’t really for us, but we read it to the end. We thought it was a book of real advice for 8-year-olds, but it was a book of funny and silly things for children to do and achieve. My daughter wasn’t really excited about it, but she giggled within a few pages as we got through it.

Great, funny, fun tips – I know my son, and all the 8 year olds I now have a gift to go to, will get a kick out of the whimsical, funny, and nasty things mentioned. I am excited to see some of the same advice that I have to do and give to my son appear on the page – I think we are all in this together: all parents want their children to have good manners, bathe and be kind. Maybe hearing it from a disembodied narrator in a cool graphic format will get you hooked!

I gave this to my 8 year old daughter to read. But she didn’t like it and found it boring! Maybe it’s not his kind of book.

My son got this for his birthday. And it turns out that it’s not just another ploy to make your child more complete. It is very oriented towards children and their interests. There are a few fun exercises, some good advice, and some silly nonsense. Most importantly, she has re-read it several times and is looking forward to the 9 and 10 year old books.

A Degree In A Book: Psychology: Everything You Need To Know To Master The Subject

My 8 year old got an advanced copy of it from a friend. read it and loved it. he reread it several times laughing all the way. he specifically asked “Everything you need to know when you’re 9” for his birthday.

This is such a cute book! I feel like a lot of advice books for teenagers going off to college, but this is for those awesome 8 years in your life! It’s full of the weird (How to make the booger NOT in your nose… it’s with rubber cement, I know because I did it when I was 8), to the help (when you should call 911, what to do if needed attention, how to identify animal prints in your yard) to the practical (how to know if you have superpowers, what to do if you are REALLY shy, when to wash your hands, etc.). I think this is a fun and graphically intense book that will catch the eye of any child and hopefully help an 8 year old in your life. #EverythingToKnowSeries

Everything you need to know when you are 8 is a mish-mash of activities, ideas and information that has been selected with the help of the author’s child (according to the introduction). While some things included in the book would appeal to some children, the book comes across as too much aimed at a specific child with specific interests. It lacks general appeal to a wide range of young readers. Sure, I can see some kids enjoying it, but that interest will be short-lived. Thank you NetGalley and ABRAMS Kids for the opportunity to read an early reader copy.

This book is fun and every 8 year old deserves a copy! Readers will learn how to booger without using their nose, fart in public, do the world’s best fart, and much more. Some of these sections were so funny I literally laughed out loud. The book also includes more serious topics such as how to try new foods, tell the truth, make new friends, and what to do if you make a mistake. I can’t wait to buy a copy for our library and give as gifts to every 8 year old I know.

Trump: Think Like A Billionaire Everything You Need To Know About Success, Real Estate, And Life

As a teacher of an 8 year old, and a parent of a 7 year old, I think this book is right on the nose. Combining humor and wisdom with a voice that sounds more like a big brother than a parent, kids will enjoy taboo topics like farting and making boogers, while some really helpful themes of friendship and honesty are interwoven . The e-ARC format made it very difficult to read much, but I liked what I could read enough that I will probably add this book to my classroom library.

Some good tips and fun activities, but ideas like “fool stealth friends”, “prank your parents” and “practice your ‘innocent face'” will make this book more popular with some people and less so with others. Parents can discuss some of these ideas with their children.

**BASED ON AN ARC BY THE AUTHOR** I really like this book, especially for everything you need to know when you’re 8 years old. I just wish this was in color.

I love that this book is gender neutral (but does not include non-binary children). The future job quiz starts with whether you are a boy or a girl and both lead to it does not change. This is for all the conversations you want to have with your child, but sometimes they feel too small or too big. He also doesn’t take himself too seriously. He tells the kids why they shouldn’t lie, but offers popsicle recipes. Rule age 10 with the secrets of the earth and advice to know that they will not teach you in school with the “fun and humorous” (School Library Connection) Everything You need to know when you are 10 years old from the bestseller author of the New York Times Kirsten Miller. What is the best gift for a child who is 10 years old? Everything they need to know! Ten is an important year in the life of any child. That’s when they finally reach double digits – and that means more freedom and responsibility. It also means that there are a ton of things to learn, and some of them are quite important. Inside this fun manual is the information that children need to make 10 one of the best years of their lives, from fun to serious to disgusting. Includes color illustrations Everything you need to know Everything you need to know when you’re 8 Everything you need to know when you’re 9 Everything you need to know when you’re 10

First sentence: I think you’ve been waiting for this moment for ages. Kirsten Miller has been writing a guide book for ten years. (This is a follow-up to her books “Everything you need to know when you’re 8 years old and Everything you need to know when you’re 9 years old. I haven’t read either of them. She refers to these a little remembering” faithful readers) who learned to do something in such a book). It is a mixture of super-practical, practical and impractical. In this guide, readers will learn some life coping skills (like how to deal with anger, disappointment, fear, etc.), some technical skills (like what to do when your toilet overflows) , some people skills (advice on friendship, gossip, crushes, etc.). As with any general guidebook, the author makes some assumptions/assumptions
